PrenatalSafe Complete Pluss test

It is a combined first-trimester screening test that takes advantage of the strengths of both the PrenatalSafe Karyo Plus test and the GeneSafe Complete test, providing a new, significantly more accurate and comprehensive screening test than the PrenatalSafe Karyo Plus test and the GeneSafe Complete test can offer as separate tests.

With the PrenatalSafe Karyo Plus test, it is possible to detect in the mother's venous blood, in addition to Down's, Edwards', Patau's syndrome and sex chromosome pathologies, other numerical and structural pathologies of chromosomes and 9 clinically important microdeletions that strongly affect the child's health.

With the GeneSafe Complete test, it is possible to obtain information about 29 different fetal single gene pathologies, which can cause 44 different new-onset and 5 inherited genetic diseases, which are often not detected by ultrasound examination and often manifest only in the late period of pregnancy or in the first years of life.

The GeneSafe Complete test requires, in addition to the mother's venous blood, an analysis of the child's father's oral mucosa. With the combined test, it is also possible to find out the gender of the fetus if desired.

The answer to the test can be obtained 21 days after the blood test.

The price of the test includes a very early fetal ultrasound examination of developmental defects.
