EasyPOC – genetic testing for a missed miscarriage using maternal blood

EasyPOC helps investigate whether a chromosomal change may have caused the pregnancy to stop developing. Testing is available from 7 weeks of pregnancy, before the pregnancy tissue passes.
 

The test requires only a maternal blood sample – no pregnancy tissue needs to be collected. It analyses cell-free DNA originating from the placenta. The information obtained may help explain the pregnancy loss and assess whether further investigations are needed before another pregnancy.
