Fetal Ultrasound Center — Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Medicine

 

We perform prenatal fetal ultrasound examinations, prenatal risk assessment, and fetal medicine expert evaluations. Prenatal diagnostic procedures, including chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis, are also performed at the center. Activity license L03850.
 

Fetal Ultrasound Screening Center is the OSCAR clinic licensed by the Fetal Medicine Foundation, where the following services are rendered for pregnant women up to 12 -13 weeks of pregnancy within one visit:

 

• Fetal chromosomal risk assessment
• Early risk assessment of pre-eclampsia
• Risk assessment of fetal intrauterine growth restriction
• Early screening of developmental abnormalities of the fetal heart
• Early screening of fetal neural tube pathology

 

In case of increased chromosomal risk in the fetus, we provide reliable, one of the most accurate non-invasive screening tests today – the Panorama test- and, if required, fetal invasive chromosomal and genetic diagnostics and consultation in cooperation with the Tallinn Department of Genetics of Tartu University Clinic.

 

Thanks to special training and up-to-date 3D/4D ultrasound equipment with matrix sensor, we offer high-quality services according to the guidelines of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology:

 

• Diagnostics of fetal malformations
• Diagnostics of fetal heart diseases
• Diagnostics of the fetal central nervous system and spinal cord diseases
• Screening, due to the detection and monitoring of fetal growth restriction
• Screening for pre-eclampsia, monitoring of pregnant women in the risk group, and early detection of pre-eclampsia
• Thorough ultrasound-based monitoring of multiple pregnancies as high-risk pregnancies, detection and diagnostics of transfusion syndrome between fetal growth restriction and twins, and diagnostics
